Applications Support Specialist
Rampage Systems is a privately-held leader in the development and support of prepress systems for commercial printers, pre-media service providers, and flexographic print operations. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and energetic self-starter to join our team as an:
Applications Support Specialist
You will need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, 3 to 5 years experience in prepress production, and strong interpersonal skills to:
- Provide Help Desk support to end users and third-party field trainers
- Process customer files as necessary to diagnose recurring issues
- Collaborate with Engineering to test enhancements and new products
- Demonstrate the system to end users and sales personnel
- Provide field training to end users on an ad hoc basis
- Work with Product Marketing and Engineering to enhance the product line
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Comprehensive knowledge of graphics applications such as:
- Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- Quark Express
- Imposition software
- Proficiency with PC and Mac hardware
- 3 to 5 years experience of prepress production
- Hands-on experience with the Rampage workflow a plus
- Basic knowledge of networks
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
